Tom and his wife, Sherie currently own the Seaside Fine Art Gallery in Pismo Beach specializing in Western Art, California Seascapes, and Fine Art Photography. They establish the SLO-POKE Western Art Rodeo, which is a public juried art exhibition held near Solvang each year in September. He is also an accomplished photographer.

Tom is the Chairman of the Central Coast Chapter of the California Art Club and the Chairman of the Pismo Beach Chamber of Commerce.

In his professional life, Tom had executive roles in Program Management, Business Development, and Marketing for the Aerospace industry.
