HOMETOWN
Photography Exhibit by Mark Dektor
Last year, our board member, Dennis Frahmann, noticed that a photographer, Mark Dektor, was posting intriguing black-and-white portrait photographs on the Facebook page "Cambria Currents". With the community’s encouragement, Mark started a little trend, posting more and more portraits of townspeople from all over Cambria. Folks couldn’t wait to see who he would feature next. With remarkable talent, Mark had a unique way of capturing not just their image, but their personality. Were they serious, funny, or thoughtful? He had a gift for connecting with that inner light that Cambrians are known for. We believe this exhibit is a reflection of his one-man crusade to show us *us*.
Step into the CCA Studio Gallery for the HOMETOWN exhibit to see the images, and if you’re one of the many featured in the show, we challenge you to find yourself! In true artistic fashion, Mark has captured the spirit of the Cambrian tribe. Come see the exhibit and discover what the fuss is all about.
