Community Arts
We believe it is our responsibility to achieve our mission of engaging our community in the arts. In 2020 we started our first Community Arts Projects, the Rainbow Community Art Project and our first mural which is almost 1000 square feet. We are excited to provide a welcoming, professional and beautiful center, but taking the arts beyond our walls and involving our community is as important. Arts bring us together.
Community Arts Projects
- Murals - Number one is completed, we anticipate completing number two, and possibly number three in 2023
- A Day in the Life of Cambria - An ongoing photo challenge.
- Sculpture Gardens - Stay tuned as we begin planning the where, what and how.
Classes, Workshops, and Lectures
What would you like to learn or improve? We are reaching out to our community to create a schedule that meets your needs. Please take a look at our Learning page to see how we support all levels of learning for all of the arts.
Store Front Art
Do you have an empty window or lobby just asking for some works of art? Contact us if you would like a local artist to display art for sale on a rotating basis.
Scholarships
Each year CCA provides $1000 each to three CUSD high school seniors pursuing a career in the arts. Contact your school counsellor for more information.
Events
Once a year we host a Celebration of the Arts event that is free to our community. Each year’s event brings something new and interesting in all areas of the arts. Stay tuned for more information about our 2022 event.
