CCA WEST Gallery

About CCA West

Located at 739 West Main Street in Cambria, CCA West is a new gallery space that will extend the presence of the Cambria Art Association into Cambria’s vibrant and historic West Village. The building has been leased to Cambria Center for the Arts by a generous local donor under extremely favorable terms.

The gallery, which has just over 700 feet of exhibition space, features dimmable LCD track lighting, a flexible display system using vertical rods, and a covered outdoor patio suitable for small displays. The center of the gallery can be configured for lectures and can accommodate an audience of up to 30 people. A series of monthly art lectures is being planned.

CCA Board Member John Seed will serve as gallery director and will be supported by a four member advisory board made up of Patrick Dennis, Karen Franscioni, Tigg Morales and Erik Oksen.

Exhibitions will mix works by CCA member artists with curated shows of featured artists from the Central Coast and beyond. CCA West is a flexible space intended to develop its own distinctive identity over time.

Staffed entirely by volunteers, CCA West will be open Tuesday through Sunday, 11 to 5, and by appointment.

Opening Exhibition

The pubic opening of CCA West has been set for Friday, October 30th from 5 to 7PM

The west wall of the gallery will feature seven large oil paintings by artist Bruce Everett of Templeton. A professor of art at Cal State Northridge for 35 years, Everett is a noted realist whose work is in private collections across the United States. Everett has stated: “My reasons for painting the landscape are first and foremost out of a deep emotional need to paint what moves me.”

On the east wall a rotating exhibition of landscape paintings by CCA member artists will be on display. All works will be for sale. Both exhibitions will close at the end of 2026, with new exhibitions to follow in January of 2027.
