Mary Gail Stablein

Mary Gail Stablein My name is Mary Gail Stablein and I am a two dimensional Artist based in San Luis Obispo, California. After graduating with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in printmaking and art history from Arizona State University, I began my freelance art career painting murals, drawing portraits, and creating camera-ready Art. I taught Art in K-12 public schools for over 20 years and presently, I teach Art students how to become Art teachers in the College of Education, Counseling and Ethnic Studies at Sonoma State University.

I am inspired by the ever evolving nature that surrounds us on the Central Coast. I am a member of the Central Coast Watercolor Society and the Central Coast Printmakers.
