Demo: Journeys—Designing a travel journal with creative photos and thoughtful text

with Margaret Foster

Saturday January 24, 2026 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Cambria Center for the Arts - Green Room

Join us on a winter’s afternoon for a taste of what a photo journal can be. Margaret will provide you with a look at what travel journals can look like, help you understand the creative processes involved, and give a quick glimpse into the software that will help you design and publish your own books. Margaret will also be offering an in-depth workshop on the subject in February

Here are two of Margaret's travel journals to explore: Rhine, Main, and Danube, and Just Pack: The Piedras Blancas Light Station

My Art Journey - Tigg Morales

Will explain my history with art and my process for this show: Birds Eye View

Tigg has created art throughout her life in one form or another, including interior design and architectural drafting. She received a degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in Graphic Communications. Eventually, she found her way to painting. She works with both oils and watercolors, in her studio and outdoors. She is inspired by the natural beauty of the sea, the trees, and the charming communities tucked along the coastline.
