The Gallery is in need of volunteers on a regular basis. We have a Gallery Committee that meet once a month to discuss all areas of the operation, including upcoming and past events, Gallery upgrades and updates, collaborations with our other branches of the organization as well as outside organizations and much more. We’re a fun group of creative people and we have some great ideas for upcoming shows, improvements, marketing, fundraising, etc., but we need more people to make it spectacular.
It doesn't stop there. Gallery events require hospitality volunteers. Gallery exhibits need volunteers to help take-in and placement of the artwork. We have a coordinators that determine the schedule for the next year. And all this activity requires getting the word out with marketing. There are so many areas where we can use some fresh ideas and can-do attitudes. It's always fun and you always meet interesting people.
For those of you who are artists, there's a benefit for volunteering in this way. We offer take-in discounts to all who participate.
