FEATURED ARTIST

Nily Harel

Nily Harel For many years now, Nily has enjoyed travel photography. It became an important part of her life in the last few years, as a way to cope with grief. She compares it to   meditation - "when you take a photo, you're in the moment".

The aspect of photography that she relates the most is the aesthetics. She enjoys finding beauty and humor in the world around her, nature or urban; special or mundane.

She participated in a few photography venues as exhibits at the Hoyt Gallery at the USC School of Medicine and later joined the Pasadena Photography Art Association. She had the opportunity to present twice in “Open Show Pasadena-East LA”. After her retirement from USC she joined Paso Robles Art Association and the Photography Guild and have been participating in the monthly exhibits as well as curated exhibits in Studios on the Park.
